Boxing

Ron is the head coach of Makovoz Boxing Club. He is a 2X Israeli and a 2X Canadian amateur boxing champion. His true passion is to see people grow and get in shape through the sport of boxing. He has over 7 years of practical coaching experience, having coached in Toronto, Washington DC and now New York.

The training provided is based on REAL boxing technique. You will learn all the fundamentals while getting in shape. The training routine typically consists of 15 minutes warm up, 
30 minutes pad/mitts work, and 15 minutes ab work and relaxation. It is designed for both beginners and for veterans of the sport.



Conditioning

Johnny is the head conditioning coach at Makovoz Boxing Club. As an aspiring power lifter and former wrestler, he utilizes simple but practical workouts that will develop strength, cardiovascular improvements, and quickness while utilizing good form.

Professionally, Johnny is an environmental scientist and a former high school teacher that has mentored underprivileged students. He enjoys chemistry, hiking, and photography.
